Two sophomores were charged with possessing weapons, and one was charged with making a threat in the Dec. 2 incident where a student was threatened with a knife in Swig Residence Hall, authorities said.
Peter Qaqundah (Charges against Qaqundah dismissed) and Can Turkmen, both 19, were both charged with possessing knives on university property, said Lt. Mike Sellers, a Santa Clara police spokesman.
An additional misdemeanor charge was filed against Turkmen for threatening to commit a crime which would result in death or great bodily injury to another person, said Sellers.
