Redshirt junior Will Grant scored seven goals in four games over the weekend, helping the team go 3-1 in the Rodeo Tournament.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

“My biggest inspiration is my mom. She is incredibly hard working, and I would never have this opportunity to play at (Santa Clara) if it weren’t for her.”

How was the team so successful over the weekend?

“(We haven’t) given up and kept believing that we could win these close games against some good teams. This is a huge step in the right direction.”
