What is a letter to the editor?

Letters are a way for readers to respond directly to previous articles published by The Santa Clara, voice concerns regarding on and off-campus issues, or provide feedback to the newspaper.

A chance for you to share your views with the larger Santa Clara community, consider a Letter to the Editor as your very own opinion article.

How do i send A letter?

Submissions must include a phone number, author’s name and year of graduation, or job title and relation to the university. Anonymous letters will not be considered for publication. Letters should not exceed 340 words.

Physical letters should be delivered to Room 13 in the Benson Memorial Center or to the following address:
