ASG Introduces New Awards

Hindery and Vanadilok Awards Commend Leadership

Jenni SiglTHE SANTA CLARAMay 19, 2016img_8793On May 19, the Associated Student Government announced and presented two new awards to be given out annually by their organization –  the Hindery Award for Productive Partnership and the Vanadilok Award for Service to the University Community. The inaugural awards were conferred upon their namesakes, Michael Hindery and Tedd Vanadilok respectively. Hindery is the former vice president for finance and administration and Vanadilok is the current director of campus programs for the Center for Student Leadership."Both men have demonstrated remarkable leadership and have gone above and beyond the call to partner with ASG to make SCU a better place," said Austin Smith, former chairman of the Student Affairs Committee. "ASG looks forward to recognizing faculty, staff and administrators who have followed in Michael and Tedd's footsteps next year."ASG created the awards to recognize faculty and staff who have gone above and beyond in working with their organization and supporting the campus community as a whole.
