THE SANTA CLARAMay 4, 2017Alcohol Violation April 28: A group of students were drinking alcoholic beverages at the Dunne Residence Hall volleyball court. They were admonished for the alcohol violation and documented. The alcohol was confiscated for disposition. Informational Report April 26: Campus Safety responded to investigate a recent report of a possible rape. A female campus resident was found intoxicated in her room with a non affiliate male visitor. The male visitor was uncooperative when asked to leave and was escorted out of the building. SCU EMS and SCFD were contacted and responded. April 28: A student reported that someone vandalized her car window by writing messages on it while it was parked on Market Street by the Sobrato Parking Lot. She was advised to file a report with SCPD. Medical Emergency April 26: A student fell off the shoulders of another student while performing in Mayer Theater. She refused medical attention. April 27: A campus resident injured her leg while practicing martial arts at an off-campus location and requested medical assistance. SCU EMS gave her medical assistance. April 30: A student got elbowed in the back of the head while playing basketball in the Malley Fitness Center. SCU EMS evaluated him and he refused further medical assistance. May 1: A student injured her foot while opening her room door barefoot. A Campus Safety officer escorted her to Cowell Health Center. May 1: A student tripped and twisted her ankle on the stairs at the Alameda North Parking Lot. Campus Safety escorted her to Cowell Health Center. Student Behavior April 29: Several male students climbed over the fence and ran around Schott Stadium naked in the middle of the night. They were admonished and documented. Theft April 27: Cash was reported stolen from a desk drawer inside a Casa Italiana resident’s room. Campus Safety and SCPD are investigating the case. April 28: A vehicle was broken into and several items were stolen while it was parked across the street from the University Villas. SCPD was notified and an investigation is being conducted. April 30: A non-affiliate male was seen cutting the lock off a bicycle at the Edward M. Dowd Art and Art History Building bike racks. SCPD was contacted and responded. He was taken into custody for possession of narcotics paraphernalia and outstanding warrants. Trespassing April 27: A non-affiliate male was seen going through trash cans and pulling on door handles along Alameda Mall by the Engineering Building.
