Alcohol Related Medical Emergency

Feb. 12: A male student was reported intoxicated at the corner of Alviso and Market Streets. CSS, SCPD and SCFD responded. Paramedics transported the student to Valley Medical Center.

Feb. 13: A male student was observed stumbling along the walkway between Campisi Residence Hall and Graham Residence Hall while carrying a six pack of beer. SCU EMS evaluated him and allowed him to return to his room. CSS confiscated and disposed of the six pack of beer.

Feb. 13: A female student was observed vomiting outside of Bannan Engineering. She admitted to drinking seven shots of vodka earlier. SCU EMS evaluated her and escorted her back to her room in Dunne Residence Hall.

Informational Report

Feb. 13: CSS received a report from an alumnus who said he had encountered an unknown suspicious male who was possibly armed with a gun while attending a party at Soccer house. SCPD was contacted to investigate.

Feb. 13: Two students were reported drinking alcoholic beverages in the Harrington Learning Commons. CSS responded to identify and question both students. The alcohol was confiscated and disposed of.

Feb. 14: A campus resident reported receiving a disturbing text message from an unknown male, who was later identified as a student from the University of Sciences in Philadelphia. The message was forwarded to the University’s Public Safety Department for action.

Feb. 16: A female student reported that while walking on Park Avenue she witnessed an unknown male masturbating inside of his parked car and staring at her. He drove off when he saw that she wrote down his license plate number. SCPD was notified.

Student Behavior

Feb. 11: Two male students were observed possibly having a physical altercation in the main lobby area of Walsh Hall in the middle of the night. CSS responded to investigate and questioned both students. While questioning one of the students in front of his room, CSS found marijuana and paraphernalia inside the room. The student  became upset, argumentative and began screaming when a CSS officer began to search his room. SCPD responded. CSS confiscated and disposed of the marijuana and paraphernalia.

Feb. 13: CSS responded to a report of loud noise coming from a resident’s room in the middle of the night. CSS found several students in the room with assorted alcoholic beverages, edible marijuana products and paraphernalia. CSS confiscated and disposed of the items.

Feb. 14: Two intoxicated male students were observed tampering with parked vehicles in the Cowell Health Center Parking Lot. They fled the area after noticing a CSS officer arrival. CSS was able to locate them for questioning in front of Graham Residence Hall. No damages were found on the parked vehicles.    

Suspicious Person

Feb. 9: A non-affiliate male was reported viewing inappropriate material on his laptop in the Multi-Cultural Center. CSS gave him a trespass warning.
