Found Property

Feb. 22: A sewing box containing spoiled food was found and turned in to the CSS office.

Informational Report

Feb. 17: A vehicle was struck by a portable stop sign that was blown away by a gust of wind at the university’s main entrance.

Feb. 17: A female student reported possibly being followed by an unknown male while walking toward her apartment at the Park Avenue Apartments. She also said that an unknown person knocked at her door. CSS responded but was unable to locate the unknown male, though it appeared that the knock came from magazine solicitors.

Feb. 18: CSS received a call from a non-affiliate female who stated that she received sexually harassing messages from a male student. She was advised to contact SCPD.

Feb. 22: A female student reported that she observed a non-affiliate male inside his parked vehicle off-campus without his pants on and possibly masturbating. CSS and SCPD responded. SCPD was able to locate the male and identified him.

Medical Emergency

Feb. 19: A faculty member was reported choking on food in the O’Connor Hall basement. CSS and SCFD responded.

Feb. 19: A male campus resident accidentally stepped on a nail and injured his foot. SCU EMS evaluated him.

Student Behavior

Feb. 19: A male student was reported yelling and pacing back and forth outside of the Harrington Learning Commons. CSS responded and asked him to quiet down. He complied.

Feb. 21: A male student was found sleeping in the Harrington Learning Commons early in the morning hours. CSS escorted him out of the building.

Feb. 22: A very intoxicated male student reportedly forced his way into a female campus resident’s room with his pants down. He left the room before CSS arrived. Both female residents said they did not know him and did not want to press charges. The incident is being handled by the Office of Residence Life.

Suspicious Incident

Feb. 21: A female campus resident reported being followed by two or three unidentified males while walking towards campus on Accolti Way at night. She ran toward Sanfilippo Residence Hall and was let in by a student. CSS responded but was unable to locate the males.

Trespassing

Feb. 19: A non-affiliate male was observed sitting on the steps of the de Saisset Museum, drinking a beer. CSS identified him and asked him to leave campus.

Vandalism

Feb. 21: Graffiti was found spray painted on the entrance wall of the Leavey Center.
