THE SANTA CLARAMarch 21, 2016Screen Shot 2016-03-04 at 7.06.52 PMAlcohol-Related Medical EmergencyMarch 12: A female campus resident became ill after consuming 8 shots of an alcoholic beverage at an off-campus party. SCU EMS evaluated her and allowed her to remain in her room, monitored by her roommate.  March 15: A female student was reported intoxicated near the Abby Sobrato Mall fountain. CSS and SCPD responded. Paramedics transported her to O'Connor Hospital. Notifications were made.Informational ReportMarch 12: A suspicious male was reported throwing pebbles at a campus resident's room window in Nobili Residence Hall, in the middle of the night. He claimed to be the campus resident’s friend. He was advised to stay off campus property. March 17: A female student was observed to be in distress on Campbell Ave, in the middle of the night. She said she lost her wallet and cellphone. She was escorted back to her campus residence room. Her lost Access card was suspended.March 18: CSS responded to investigate a report of a marijuana odor coming from a campus resident's room. No marijuana was found in the room.March 20: CSS responded to investigate a report of someone throwing items out of a campus resident's room window. The room occupant said that an unknown acquaintance was throwing items out of the window. He was advised to clean up the debris.  Student BehaviorMarch 11: A vehicle was observed striking another parked vehicle in the Cowell Center Parking Lot, then driving off. CSS and SCPD responded to investigate and identified the student who owned the vehicle. The student was contacted and interviewed.March 13: A male campus resident was drinking alcoholic beverages in his room with two non-affiliate guests. CSS responded, but the non-affiliates had left the room upon CSS' arrival. A room search revealed several empty bottles of beer, cannabis infused chocolate bars and rolling papers. The items were confiscated and disposed of.March 17: CSS responded to investigate a loud noise and a marijuana odor in a campus resident's room. The room occupants, including a non-affiliate guest, were uncooperative and argumentative when questioned. Marijuana and paraphernalia were found in the room and were confiscated and disposed of. The non-affiliate guest was asked to leave campus.  TheftMarch 18: Some wood flooring panels for the "Tiny House Project" were reported stolen from the Leavey Athletic Center.TrespassingMarch 13: A non-affiliate male was reported soliciting guests in the Mission Church. CSS escorted him out of the building, and gave him a trespass warning to stay off campus property.March 14: Two female students reported that a suspicious non-affiliate male followed them from Benson Memorial Center to Graham Residence Hall in the middle of the night. CSS and SCPD responded. He received a trespass warning and was advised to stay off of campus.  VandalismMarch 11: An unknown person spread feces underneath the toilet in the lobby restroom at Facilities. March 19: A plant was found uprooted from the ground near Swig Residence Hall.
