Alcohol Violation

Mar. 22: Two campus residents were found in possession of several bottles of an alcoholic beverage in their room. One of the residents was identified as underage. All of the alcohol was confiscated and disposed of.

Drunk Driving on Private Property

Mar. 26: A non-affiliate male was observed driving under the influence and proceeded onto the Santa Clara Street Mall in the middle of the night. SCPD responded and took the non-affiliate into custody for drunk driving. His vehicle was impounded.

Found Property

Mar. 22: A pair of headphones was found in the Mission Gardens and turned in to the CSS office.

Mar. 23: A pipeline valve key was found and turned in to the CSS office.

Mar. 24: A skateboard was found unattended at the entrance of Sobrato Residence Hall and was turned in to the CSS office.

Mar. 27: A bicycle wheel was found at the Sobrato Residence Hall bike racks and was turned in to the CSS office.

Informational Report

Mar. 24: CSS assisted a staff member in removing a lock from his bicycle.

Mar. 27: CSS responded to check the welfare of a male campus resident who failed to make contact with his parents who were picking him up on campus. CSS discovered the resident in his room. He stated that he overslept at another location. Notifications were made.

Mar. 27: A secured bicycle was discovered missing its wheel, at the Sobrato Residence Hall bike racks.

Mar. 29: A female student reported that a male intruder had gained access into her off-campus residence early in the morning hours while she was inside. CSS contacted SCPD, who responded to investigate. An SCU Alert was issued because of the close proximity to campus.

Medical Emergency

Mar. 28: A male campus resident was having trouble breathing due to an allergic reaction to peanuts. CSS and SCFD responded. A private vehicle transported him to O’Connor Hospital. Notifications were made.

Student Behavior

Mar. 24: A male student was found sleeping in Daly Science room 305. He was asked to leave the building.

Trespassing

Mar. 26: A non-affiliate male was observed setting up a camp on the lawn area by the building at 475 El Camino Real. He was given a trespass warning and was advised to leave the university property.

Mar. 28: Two non-affiliates, a male and a female, were found removing recyclable items from the large dumpsters at the Leavey Athletic Center. They were uncooperative when asked for identifications and fled the area in a vehicle.
