Drug Violation

Mar. 31: A non-affiliate male was observed near the Campisi Residence Hall bike racks in the middle of the night. SCPD responded and identified the man as an individual who was on probation for an earlier arrest. CSS found that he was in possession of methamphetamine, a large folding knife, a glass pipe, sheet metal shears, a cable and bolt cutter and a bike seat. CSS gave him a trespass warning. SCPD took him into custody.

Grand Theft

Apr. 1: SJPD reported that a Santa Clara Bon Appetit golf cart was observed hitting two parked vehicles on Campbell Avenue and O’Brien Court, an off-campus location. CSS was able to locate and detain a non-affiliate juvenile on Campbell Ave. He was uncooperative and combative toward the CSS officer. SJPD and SCPD were contacted and responded. SCPD took him into custody.

Informational Report

Apr. 3: An intoxicated non-affiliate male struck two parked vehicles on Campbell Avenue near the University Villas parking lot entrance while driving. SCPD took the driver into custody. The damaged vehicles’ owners were notified.

Medical Emergency

Apr. 4: A male student injured his lips while playing basketball at the Malley Fitness Center. CSS escorted him to Cowell Health Center.

Off-Campus Robbery

Apr. 2: Two armed male suspects reportedly robbed a female student at 420 Lafayette Street, an off-campus location. The suspects then fled the area in a vehicle. A campus alert was issued after receiving specific details from SCPD.

Property Damage

Mar. 31: An unknown person threw a metal object through the large window of the Multicultural Center. The object created a large hole in the glass pane. No suspect was found. Facilities responded to clean up the broken glass.

Suspicious Behavior

Mar. 31: CSS responded to investigate a report of individuals on top of the overhang by the main entrance of Dunne Residence Hall. CSS found no one on the ledge.

Mar. 31: Three females, later identified as students, were observed standing outside of a resident’s room window at Graham Residence Hall. One of them started to crawl through the room window. They were cooperative when questioned by CSS officer.

Student Behavior

Apr. 1: A male student reported losing his access card after making a purchase at the Benson Memorial Center. Two unauthorized charges were made on his lost card. CSS was able to identify two male students using the card. Both students were questioned and documented.
