Alcohol and Drug Violation

Apr. 22: A male campus resident was observed defiantly drinking a beer in a Swig Residence Hall elevator. He was identified and also found in possession of two bags of marijuana, paraphernalia and unmarked pills. CSS confiscated and disposed of the items.

Apr. 22: Underage campus residents were found in possession of alcoholic beverages, marijuana and paraphernalia in their room. CSS confiscated and disposed of the items.

Alcohol Related Medical Emergency

Apr. 21: A male student was seen stumbling and tugging on bicycles at the O’Connor Hall bike racks. SCU EMS evaluated him. CSS escorted him back to his home on Lafayette Street.

Apr. 23: A male campus resident was reported intoxicated and accidentally bit his lip in his room. CSS found an alcoholic beverage in his room and disposed of it. He declined medical treatment.

Apr. 23: Three males, later identified as students and a non-affiliate guest, were observed walking towards Sobrato Residence Hall and appeared to be very intoxicated. They admitted to have been drinking at an off-campus party. SCU EMS evaluated the students. SCPD and SCFD responded. The students  refused transportation to a hospital and were allowed to remain in a resident’s room.

Found Property

Apr. 21: A Razor scooter was found and turned in to the CSS office. 

Informational Report

Apr. 22: SCPD requested CSS assistance in locating a female student who was reported missing and under duress. CSS located her at the Cowell Health Center.

Medical Emergency

Apr. 23: A female campus resident reported feeling ill and later fainted in her room. She was advised to hydrate and consume some food. She refused further medical assistance.

Student Behavior

Apr. 21: A male and a female student were found engaged in inappropriate behavior in the basement of Swig Residence Hall. CSS identified and documented them.

Theft

Apr. 25: Two outdoor chess pieces were reported missing from the lawn area of the Benson Memorial Center. CSS responded to investigate and discovered that one of the pieces was taken to the second floor of Swig Residence Hall by a campus resident. The second piece is still missing.

Apr. 26: A longboard was reported stolen from the weight room in Malley Fitness Center. A review of a video surveillance revealed another male student walking out with the same longboard. The investigation is in progress.
