Alcohol-Related Medical Emergency
Jan. 28: A campus resident was reportedly intoxicated after taking a Xanax pill and consuming alcohol at an off-campus party. Campus Safety, SCU EMS and SCFD responded. Paramedics transported her to Kaiser Permanente Hospital.
Jan. 28: A female campus resident was reportedly intoxicated and vomiting in the lobby of Swig Residence Hall. Campus Safety, SCU EMS and SCFD responded. Paramedics transported her to O’Connor Hospital. A fake ID was found in her possession and was confiscated for disposition.
Jan. 28: A campus resident was found intoxicated and had apparently lost consciousness in a Campisi Residence Hall men’s restroom. He was evaluated by SCU EMS and allowed to remain in his room monitored by a friend.
Informational Report
Jan. 25: An unknown vehicle drove through the lawn area of the Santa Clara Mall and left tire marks.
Jan. 27: It was reported that several students were knocking on campus resident’s room doors and throwing flour on them. Campus Safety responded to investigate. The investigation is still ongoing.
Jan. 31: A female student reported receiving unwanted text messages from a pizza delivery man. Campus Safety responded to document the incident.
Jan. 31: A staff member reported receiving a suspicious and unusual email from an unknown male. Campus Safety documented the incident.
Medical Emergency
Jan. 29: A student injured her pinky finger on a cement mixer. She declined SCFD’s response, but a friend transported her to O’Connor Hospital.
Jan. 29: A campus resident injured his foot when he stubbed it on his room door. SCU EMS assisted him and a friend transported him to O’Connor Hospital.
Student Behavior
Jan. 29: A student was caught taking pictures, without permission, of another student who was was being placed on a medical gurney to be transported to a hospital. He was admonished and documented.
Suspicious Incident
Jan. 26: A non-affiliate male was seen sitting on top of the Bronco statue. He was admonished to leave Santa Clara property by a Campus Safety officer. About an hour later, a female student reported being harassed by the same non-affiliate male while walking by the Leavey Center. She declined SCPD’s response.
Jan. 30: A non-affiliate male attempted to gain entry to Swig Residence Hall. He was approached and questioned by a Campus Safety officer and asked to leave campus property.
Theft
Jan. 25: Two boxes of printer paper were reported missing from the lobby area of building 7 at the University Villas.
