Sports Question of Winter Week 4

QUESTION OF THE WEEK

What’s the most miserable franchise in sports?

Oakland Raiders - Claire McLoughlin I really hope my friends from the Bay don’t read this, but the Raiders are pathetic! It’s gotten so bad that owner Mark Davis resorted to moving cities to shake things up and he can’t even pull that off. Davis’ two biggest funding partners just backed out on their Las Vegas stadium deal. Oakland might have had an okay season in 2016, but if history tells us anything, they’ll be back to their losing ways in no time. Or if the Raiders somehow stay relevant, you know they’ll end up in Vegas after all and Oakland fans will be left with nothing. Cleveland Browns - Andrew Slap The Browns stand alone at the bottom of the sports world. Since their return to Cleveland in 1999, the Browns have started 26 different quarterbacks and managed just two winning seasons in that 17-year span. It’s hard to count all of Cleveland’s mistakes, but a few stand out among the rest. Cleveland passed on Donovan McNabb for Tim Couch and picked Johnny Manziel when they could have had Derek Carr. Cleveland’s coming off a one-win season and have the first overall pick, but they’ll be sure to mess that up.
