Men’s Basketball Beats Portland
On Thursday, the Broncos dropped an 84-67 contest to WCC powerhouse Gonzaga (16-5), in Spokane. On Saturday, the team defeated the Portland Pilots (9-15, 3-8) 90-84 extending their record to 8-15 overall and 4-7 in WCC games.

The Broncos’ disappointing season continued last Thursday against the University of San Francisco, as the team dropped the game 74-61, falling to 7-14 (3-6 WCC) on the season.
Jared Brownridge Shines as Scholar, Leader and Athlete
Jared Brownridge has proven his dominance on the court. A junior guard, averages 19.4 points per game, which accounts for 30 percent of the team’s total scoring. He is on pace to become the second-leading scorer in Santa Clara history, behind Kevin Foster, who graduated in 2013.
