Due to increased student enrollment, offices and classrooms for two Santa Clara graduate programs will be relocated to a building off-campus formerly used as private office space.

A group of Santa Clara faculty and students has produced technology that can identify arsenic levels in water. They call it the “Lab-on-a-Chip.”

Santa Clara students, ranging from freshmen to doctoral candidates, will be able to monitor and control NASA satellites using a 28-foot mobile laboratory which will make frequent visits to campus.

The Solar Decathlon Competition, which is held every two years and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, challenges teams to build livable solar-powered homes that are affordable, sleek and effective.
