By Volleyball's setter Roz Pelayo ranks among the top setters in the country based on her assist averag

Pelayo is also eyeing Santa Clara's single season assists mark. Through Saturday she had served up 733 assists in 15 matches of the Broncos' 30-match schedule. Pelayo will need to increase her match-average, but could challenge the record of 1760 which was set by Kris Kosnoski in 1991. Pelayo already holds the second spot on that list after piling up 1505 assists last season. She also holds the record for assists in a match with 83 set last season.
